“Healing does not mean forgetting.” Chicago-born, and sent by his new immigrant parents to Punjab as a young boy, Parminder Singh Mann remembers just being happy and fascinated seeing so much Army and so many tanks in 1984! Only later did he realize what that all meant. He bounces his own two young children on his knees through this video, merging Sikh history and future. “Not just in Sikh history… as we are exploring this topic more and more, this is going to be an important event in human history,” he maintains.
