Jagmohan Singh
Speaking with the Living History project, Jagmohan Singh recalls having the feeling of being betrayed by the Indian Government due to the killings at the Darbar Sahib in June 1984. At the time of the attack, he was based in Ludhiana. A curfew was imposed which made it impossible for Jagmohan to leave his hostel for days. He remembers the sight of seeing Army trucks on the GT Road going towards Amritsar.
In terms of the 1984 November pogroms, he recalls several people happy about the Sikh massacres and draws a comparison between the Mughal rulers and the Government responsible for anti-Sikh carnage in 1984.
