Darshan Singh
Darshan Singh was 12 years old on November 12, 1984. He recalls how when they returned to school after two horrible weeks, it was as if nothing had happened. The murder and mayhem was discussed “as if they were discussing a movie.” Moreover, one classmate said “Tu Bacch Gayaa”–You Survived?–and threatened him. Out of 5 Sikh boys in his class, 4 cut their hair in the fear and confusion that followed. Today, Singh is a proud father himself, and has done his own research to learn about the facts of 1984.
