Paramjit Kaur

Hearing these stories is solidarity, telling them is sheer strength.The 1984 Living History Project continues to record the accounts, many that would otherwise remain untold. A young school teacher in 1984, Paramjit Kaur now lives in the United States. She tried recording her story with us before, but hesitated for various reasons. In this account, she worked with the camerawoman and chose to keep her face anonymous, but did record her voice and her experiences for all generations to come.
