Mastan Singh

Mastan Singh, whose village in District Sangrur was raided by the Army simultaneously with the attack on Darbar Sahib in Amritsar, recounts his participation in leading demonstrations (morchas) and nonviolent protests.

He recalls his own experiences in and out of jails as a result of this civil disobedience.

Mastan Singh also remembers the avid participation, leadership and arrests of Sikh women in these movements.
